I absolutely love this ruffle pattern. And it is surprising easy to make, you just do a bunch of zig zag motions up the side of the cake. The best part is how fast it is to decorate, and yet everyone who saw it was just in awe... I know if I didn't know how to decorate cakes, I'd think this was a super complicated design.
My two favorite design elements are on this cake: simplicity and elegance. And it doesn't hurt that chocolate is my favorite either! :)
