Hi! My name is Kelsie. I'm a 19-year-old amateur cake decorator. My cakes are nothing to shake a stick at, but I think I do pretty well. I'm a college student studying management (gonna own my own bakery one day!), but in the meantime I work at a local bakery (it's an amazing job). I still love making sweet stuff for my friends & family. :)


I started this blog in the fall of 2007 to show off the cakes I was decorating. I don't know why I settled on cake decorating as my chosen career path, but I think cake decorating chose me. Blogging seemed like the perfect way for me to keep my family and friends up-to-date with my cakes, and give me incentive to practice more!

Over the past four years, I've posted on and off, occasionally getting caught up in school and work and leaving this blog dusty on the shelf. If I'm on hiatus, I promise I'll be back eventually, with my arms loaded with new stories and photos and helpful tips. If you ever have any cake or baking related question, feel free to contact me.
